Leaders allied to the Kenya Kwanza government have reportedly called on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to bar Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna from contesting for any elective seat in the 2027 General Election.

According to reports shared by Media Network on social media, the leaders alleged that Sifuna has a poor leadership record and claimed he has been associated with goons during political rallies.
