Prime Cabinet Secretary met with Malava Member of Parliament-elect David Ndakwa on Monday to discuss the incoming leadership’s development priorities, following Ndakwa’s decisive electoral victory.
The meeting comes ahead of Ndakwa’s swearing-in, scheduled for Tuesday.
In a statement on X, the CS congratulated Ndakwa and expressed gratitude to Malava residents for re-electing a UDA candidate, describing the victory as a reaffirmation of public confidence in leadership centered on service and progress.
“Once he is sworn in tomorrow, the real work begins,” the CS said, emphasizing that the people of Malava deserve efficient service delivery, meaningful development, and leadership that stays connected to their needs and aspirations.
Ndakwa, who won the Malava parliamentary seat in the recent general elections, assured constituents of his commitment to translating campaign promises into actionable programs.
The CS highlighted plans to work closely with the new MP to ensure development projects are inclusive, sustainable, and beneficial to all residents.
