“I Left My Children With My Mother — Days Later She Cut Their Faces With a Panga and Took Her Own Life,” Woman Cries (VIDEO)

Beth Wanjiru is a woman whose life story has shocked and deeply saddened many Kenyans after she bravely shared the painful experiences she has gone through. According to Beth, her life has been full of struggles from a very young age.

She explained that she was first raised by both her parents, but later they separated, forcing her to leave home. After the separation, she went to live with her grandmother, hoping to find comfort and stability.

While living with her grandmother together with her siblings, life was not easy. Food was not enough and school fees became a big problem. Because of these challenges, Beth was forced to drop out of school before completing her studies.

She later made the hard decision to travel to Nairobi to look for work so that she could support herself and help her family. It was in Nairobi where she met a man, and after some time, the two fell in love and started a relationship.

Speaking during an interview, Beth narrated that she later gave birth to four children. For a while, life seemed to be moving on well. However, things changed when her mother-in-law fell seriously sick.

Beth said she was forced to leave Nairobi, where her husband was running a big restaurant, and move to the rural area to take care of her sick mother-in-law.

While staying in the rural area, Beth realized that her husband was cheating on her with another woman. This deeply hurt her and brought many disagreements between them. Eventually, their relationship ended, leaving Beth alone and without strong support.

Beth later rented a house in Nairobi and tried to start a new chapter in her life. However, life became even harder. She struggled to pay rent, buy food, and provide for her children. Due to the difficulties, she made a painful decision to take her children to live with her mother as she continued hustling in Nairobi.

Tragedy struck when Beth’s mother reportedly developed mental problems. One day, she attacked the children and badly injured their faces using a panga. After committing the horrifying act, she later took her own life, leaving the family and the nation in shock.

In an emotional statement, Beth Wanjiru said she does not understand why her life is full of pain and suffering. She asked Kenyans to pray for her and her children as they go through this difficult time.

She also appealed to good Samaritans who may be willing to help her rebuild her life and support her injured children.
