Speaking during an evening interview, Moses Kuria warned that the people of the Central region could face serious problems if they do not vote for President William Ruto in the 2027 elections.
He urged voters to support Ruto and his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua, saying that failure to do so would be a big mistake. According to Kuria, the consequences could affect the region for many years.
In his statement, Kuria revealed that he has plans to run for the presidency in 2032. He assured that once he becomes president, he will address the challenges and issues that the people of Central Kenya are currently facing.
He emphasized that supporting Ruto in 2027 is a key step to ensuring that the region benefits in the long term.
Kuria added that if a politician other than Ruto wins the 2027 elections, it could create a big setback for Central Kenya. He explained that a non-Ruto government could serve two terms, which would block his plans for the 2032 presidency.
This, he said, would mean that the problems Central people face today would continue without any solution, putting the region in a difficult position.
He concluded by saying that a victory for Ruto in 2027 would pave the way for him to win in 2032. Kuria explained that Ruto’s support would help him become the sixth president of Kenya, allowing him to implement solutions for Central Kenya and fulfill promises that have long been delayed.
