"Try to Arrest Me and You Will See How Angry Kenyans Can Be," Ex-DP Gachagua Responds to Murkomen's Arrest Threats (VIDEO)

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has hit back at Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen following remarks suggesting that he could be arrested and taken to court over allegations linking him to acts of violence and goonism in the country.... WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

Speaking during a public address, Gachagua dismissed the accusations and instead accused the Interior CS of being responsible for the insecurity witnessed during the June 25 anti-government protests as well as violence reported at several political gatherings.

The former deputy president claimed that those behind the chaos were being protected by the very leaders now pointing fingers at him. He denied any involvement in sponsoring criminal activities and maintained that the allegations against him were politically motivated.

Gachagua further challenged Murkomen to go ahead with the threatened arrest, warning that such a move would trigger widespread public anger.

According to him, many Kenyans would take to the streets in protest, bringing normal activities across the country to a standstill.

His remarks come amid growing political tensions and continued exchanges between government officials and opposition leaders over the recent wave of protests and claims of political violence.
