Breaking News: Kenya Kwanza Leaders Call for DCP Party to Be Deregistered

Several leaders allied to the Kenya Kwanza government have reportedly sent a strong message to the Registrar of Political Parties, calling for the deregistration of the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP).

According to the reports, the leaders have accused the party and its leader, former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, of allegedly spreading hate speech and making statements they claim could incite violence in the country.

The leaders reportedly warned that allowing the DCP to continue operating could create political tension ahead of the 2027 General Election.
