Sky Victor, the daughter of the late gospel singer Betty Bayo, has released an emotional message urging Kenyans to stop criticizing both her biological father, Prophet Victor Kanyari, and her stepfather, Hiram “Tash” Gitau.

Her appeal, shared through a widely circulated video, comes at a time when her family is facing heavy public scrutiny following Betty Bayo’s death on November 10, 2025.

A Clear Message From a Grieving Daughter

In the video, Sky firmly rejected claims that she is torn between the two men, stressing that she has a strong, loving relationship with both.

“I still love both of my fathers… I’m not picking sides,” she said. “Life must continue whether she’s here or not.”

She urged the public to stop creating unnecessary drama and insisted that she is not part of any conflict involving the two men.

Appeal for Privacy and End to Online Bullying

Sky expressed deep frustration over the cyberbullying directed at Kanyari and Tash, reminding Kenyans that they do not know the full details of what her family is going through.

“Don’t bully my baba. Don’t bully my dad. You don’t know what is happening behind the scenes,”
she told her followers, cautioning against assumptions based on incomplete information.

She emphasized that much of their family life remains private, and urged people to avoid judging her fathers based on rumours and fragments shared online.

Grief Amid Public Pressure

Sky also opened up about the pain of losing her mother, describing the burial as a moment she will never forget.

She noted that even the outfit she had planned to wear to the ceremony is still untouched in her closet — a reminder of the emotional weight she carries.

Despite her grief, she said she is doing her best to push forward.

Determined to Honour Her Mother’s Legacy

Sky revealed that she had shared all her dreams and ambitions with her mother, and now feels an even stronger responsibility to accomplish them.

“I will make my mother proud no matter what,”
she vowed, saying the tragedy has only strengthened her resolve.

Her message comes as a heartfelt request for compassion from the public and a reminder that behind trending topics and online commentary are real families dealing with real pain.
