The Principal of Munyuki High School in Lugari, Mr. Simon Isiaho Shange, has been reported missing following an alleged road accident on the Eldoret-Malaba highway.
The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear, prompting concern among the school community and local authorities.
ODM Communications Director Philip Etale urged authorities to take swift action.
“The Principal of Munyuki High School in Lugari, Mr. Simon Isiaho Shange, has been missing since Monday after he was allegedly involved in a road accident along the Eldoret-Malaba highway. How he went missing after the alleged accident remains a mystery. I appeal to the police and other relevant agencies to investigate this matter and help us find Mwalimu,” he stated.
According to local sources, Mr. Shange was traveling along the highway on Monday when the accident reportedly occurred.
Eyewitnesses have not provided clear information on what happened, leaving family members and colleagues anxious for updates.
The police in the region have not yet released a statement regarding the search or investigation into Mr. Shange’s disappearance.
Residents along the Eldoret-Malaba highway expressed concern over safety on the route, noting that accidents are common due to high traffic and poor road conditions.
