Speaking on Sunday, as reported by one of the media houses, Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi revealed the consequences awaiting Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya.

The warning comes after Natembeya refused to stop criticizing leaders aligned to President William Ruto. Mudavadi made it clear that such actions would not go unnoticed by the political leaders backing Ruto.

In a statement, Musalia Mudavadi said that George Natembeya would deeply regret his actions. He revealed that they, as leaders supporting President Ruto, will present a strong candidate in Trans Nzoia during the next elections to ensure that Natembeya is defeated.

“He won’t survive this time,” Mudavadi warned, adding that the move is aimed at removing Natembeya from political power if he continues with his current approach.

Mudavadi further added that Natembeya would be left in tears after being defeated, and there would be no one available to say sorry for him.

He reminded Natembeya that he had previously been warned to stop making accusations against Kenya Kwanza government leaders but chose to ignore the warnings.

“When he was cautioned earlier and he gave a deaf ear, this outcome was expected,” Mudavadi said, hinting that Natembeya’s actions have only made his political future uncertain.

Political observers believe that this public warning by Mudavadi signals the seriousness with which Kenya Kwanza leaders are preparing to maintain their influence in Trans Nzoia ahead of the 2027 elections.
