Family Appeals for Help as Man Goes Missing in Uriri, Migori County; Another Found Dead in Nairobi

A family in Uriri, Migori County has appealed for help to find their kin who disappeared on January 13, 2026.

According to reports, the man, identified as William Saboke, allegedly left his home and went to the market; that was the last time he was seen. His family called on anyone who might have any information about his whereabouts to contact the police.

Police revealed that an investigation is ongoing, adding that his photos have been shared with other police officers across the country.

Elsewhere, grief engulfed Naivasha during the burial of a resident found dead after being reported missing following a trip to Nairobi.

According to reports, Samuel Gitonga, a resident of Karai, Naivasha in Nakuru County, disappeared on December 31, 2025. He was last seen near Talanta Stadium at Langata in Nairobi. 

The family called on any Kenyan who might have any information about his whereabouts to contact the nearest police.

Possible witnesses can also call the numbers provided on the poster. Reports indicate that the deceased was later found dead at City Mortuary in Nairobi. It was alleged that he had been killed in a road accident after being hit by a vehicle. His body was taken to the mortuary by police.

Family and friends have called on the authorities to conduct thorough investigations in order to establish what happened prior to the incident.
