Kylan Wairimu, a Kenyan lady, shared a heartbreaking story during an interview with Tales Extra, leaving many viewers deeply emotional.
According to Wairimu, life was good when her father was still alive. She said he took good care of her, guided her, and made sure she was safe and happy. She described him as a loving and responsible parent. Sadly, everything changed after his sudden death.
While speaking in tears, Wairimu revealed that just two days after her father was laid to rest, her mother got married to another man. She was introduced to him as her stepfather. At first, she accepted him and tried to respect him, believing that he would protect and guide her like a real parent.
However, as time went on, Wairimu said she started feeling unsafe in her own home. She revealed that her stepfather began making inappropriate demands toward her, which completely confused and scared her. She strongly refused and told him that she saw him as a father figure and nothing else.
She added that she reported the matter to her mother, hoping for support and protection. Instead of helping her, her mother ignored her concerns, leaving her feeling betrayed and alone.
Later, Wairimu said her situation worsened after her mother chose to side with her husband. She described being forced into a situation she did not understand or consent to, which deeply traumatized her.
After some time, Wairimu became pregnant. Instead of receiving care or help, she was chased away from home and blamed for everything. She was told she was no longer welcome.
Today, Wairimu lives in Nairobi without a stable job. She is struggling to survive and has appealed to well-wishers and Kenyans of goodwill to help her rebuild her life by offering her employment or support.
