Pastor James Ng’ang’a has dismissed claims that his Neno Evangelism Centre church was demolished following a viral video that showed a bulldozer at the church premises.
The video spread quickly on social media, causing panic and concern among some of his followers. Many assumed that the church had been pulled down and rushed online to send messages of sympathy and prayers to the outspoken preacher.
Addressing the rumours, Pastor Ng’ang’a urged his supporters not to worry or sympathise unnecessarily. He made it clear that no church had been demolished.
“Hakuna kanisa imebomolewa, na hata kama itabomolewa sio kiosk yangu. Haiwezi kunipa hofu,” Ng’ang’a said.
The pastor explained that his faith and mission are not defined by physical structures. He stressed that no external event could shake his spiritual commitment or calling.
Adding humour to his response, Ng’ang’a reassured his followers that he was fine and in good health.
“Msinipe pole, mimi sio mgonjwa,” he said, dismissing the growing concern online.
His calm reaction drew praise from some social media users, who admired how he handled the situation without panic.
Others noted how quickly misinformation can spread online, especially when videos showing heavy machinery like bulldozers are shared without context.
The pastor encouraged his followers to remain focused on faith and church work rather than being misled by viral content on social media.
Despite the rumours, the Neno Evangelism Centre remains fully operational and continues to serve its congregation. Ng’ang’a’s response has been seen as a lesson on calm leadership and discernment in the age of social media misinformation.
