In Ghana, a shocking incident occurred in one of the schools when a 40-year-old female math teacher was reportedly caught in an inappropriate act with her Grade 10 male student during break time.
According to reports, the school took action immediately. The student was permanently suspended for bad behavior, while the teacher was transferred to another school.
Many people feel the transfer was done to hide the shame from the public rather than addressing the seriousness of the issue.
The school principal allegedly said the boy’s behavior was unacceptable and raised concerns about the influence on other students.
He questioned how a student could manipulate an older teacher into such an act and warned that such behavior could damage the school’s reputation if not handled properly.
