Top Politician Calls for Action Against Karen Hospital Over Admission of MP Koimburi After DCP Exit

Taking to his social media account, Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai has called for bold action against Karen Hospital, which admitted Juja MP George Koimburi after he was reportedly abandoned following an abduction last year.

Alai said that the hospital’s actions raise serious concerns and must be addressed to avoid further confusion and fear.

In a statement, Alai argued that hospitals should not be allowed to involve themselves in issues that could create chaos in the country or even cause panic among the public.

He warned that institutions of health have a duty to protect lives without contributing to political tensions.

According to Alai, MP George Koimburi staged his own abduction and later blamed the government led by President William Ruto.

He also claimed that even former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his DCP Party admitted that foul play had occurred during the abduction incident.

“It is wrong for anyone to use hospitals to cover political schemes or mislead the public,” Alai said.

He further called on the Ministry of Health and the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) to take serious action against Karen Hospital.

Alai insisted that such cases should not go unpunished, emphasizing that healthcare facilities must remain neutral and professional.

Robert Alai made these statements shortly after MP George Koimburi announced his exit from the DCP Party, citing betrayal by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
