Viral Moment: Female Matatu Tout Twerks Mid-Journey, Surprises Passengers on Kasarani-Nganya Route

A female tout on the Kasarani-Nganya matatu route has gone viral after she surprised passengers by twerking mid-journey, turning an ordinary commute into an unexpected moment of entertainment.

According to videos circulating on social media, the tout began dancing energetically inside the moving matatu as loud music played, drawing laughter, cheers, and amused reactions from passengers.

While some commuters appeared shocked at first, others quickly joined in by clapping and filming the moment on their phones.

The spontaneous performance transformed the vehicle into a mini party, if only for a short while.
The incident has sparked mixed reactions online.

Supporters praised the tout for her confidence and ability to lighten the mood, noting that Nairobi’s matatu culture is often associated with creativity, music, and bold personalities. Many described the moment as a welcome break from the stress of traffic and daily routines.

However, critics questioned the professionalism of such behavior while on duty, arguing that public transport should prioritize safety and comfort for all passengers.

Others raised concerns about whether such acts could distract the driver or make some commuters uncomfortable.

Despite the debate, the viral clip highlights the vibrant and unpredictable nature of Nairobi’s matatu culture, where music, humor, and personality often define the daily commute as much as the journey itself.
