Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah Makes Rare Public Appearance With Wife at PCEA Church in Kikuyu

National Assembly Majority Leader and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wah on Sunday, February 1, made a rare public appearance alongside his wife, Alice Nyokabi, during a church service at PCEA Kirathimo Church in Thogoto, Kikuyu Ward.

The visit, which Ichung’wah described as “a moment of fellowship, reflection, and gratitude,” underscored the role of faith in offering guidance and strength in both personal and public life.

During the service, the lawmaker introduced his wife to the congregation, with the couple seen sharing warm smiles that reflected unity and joy.

Ichung’wah addressed congregants while dressed in a smart blazer and holding a microphone, as his wife stood beside him, elegantly dressed in a white turtleneck paired with a fur vest.

Their presence added a personal touch to the service, highlighting the importance of mutual support in leadership and public service.

Alice Nyokabi, who is known for keeping a low public profile, has occasionally accompanied her husband to select public engagements, including political and community events such as the PCEA Women’s Guild centennial celebrations.

The couple’s visit was well received by congregants, many of whom praised their humility and warm interaction during the service.
