The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced 13 job vacancies across several departments, giving qualified professionals an opportunity to join the tax agency in various management roles.
In an official notice published on its website, KRA invited interested and qualified candidates to apply for the positions before the application deadline.
The authority noted that the recruitment aims to strengthen its operations in areas such as data management, investigations, strategic planning and digital communication.
According to the announcement, applicants are required to submit their applications through the official recruitment portal. Interested candidates must register and apply online through the KRA e-recruitment system before the closing date.
Most of the advertised positions fall under senior management roles and require strong academic qualifications, professional certifications and several years of relevant work experience.
Among the top positions advertised is Chief Manager, Regional Audit Centre, Micro & Small Taxpayers, where the successful candidate will oversee taxpayer audits and ensure compliance with tax laws to enhance revenue collection.
Another key role is Chief Manager – Data Engineering, which will involve leading the organization’s data engineering operations and ensuring the development of reliable and scalable data infrastructure.
KRA is also seeking to recruit a Chief Manager – Project Management, who will be responsible for supervising digital and technology-related projects within the authority as part of its ongoing digital transformation strategy.
Other senior roles include Chief Manager – Strategy & Planning, Chief Manager – Education, Policy and Compliance, Chief Manager – Investigations and Enforcement Operations, and Chief Manager – Intelligence Analysis, Production & Exchange.
In addition, several manager-level positions have also been advertised. These include Manager – Analytics & Strategic Reporting, Manager – Enterprise Database Administration, Manager – Data Quality & Master Data Management, Manager – Data & Big Data Operations, Manager – Continuous Audit, and Manager – Digital Communication & Production.
Most of the roles require candidates to have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, while a master’s degree and professional certifications are listed as added advantages for many of the positions.
Applicants are also expected to have between five and seven years of relevant work experience, with some positions requiring prior experience in middle-level management roles.
