Breaking News: UDA Governor Pushes for Bill Seeking All Institutions in the Country, Roads to Be Named After Ruto; Wants His Portrait Printed on Kenyan Currency

Meru Governor Isaac Mutuma has sparked widespread reactions after proposing that a bill be introduced to have major public institutions across the country, including schools, hospitals, and roads, named after President William Ruto...... WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

According to the governor, he also wants Members of Parliament to approve the inclusion of President Ruto's portrait on Kenyan currency.

He argued that the President has achieved what many previous leaders failed to accomplish and therefore deserves such recognition.

Mutuma further stated that his desire is to honor President Ruto and be remembered as one of the leaders who openly appreciated the Head of State's leadership.

He reportedly expressed confidence that his continued support for the President would earn him the backing of Meru residents in the 2027 General Election.

His remarks have since triggered mixed reactions on social media, with many Kenyans debating whether such proposals are appropriate at this time.

While some praised the governor for expressing his support for the President, others questioned the necessity of naming public institutions and printing currency with the President's portrait.

As the debate continues online, it remains to be seen whether the proposal will receive any formal backing or remain a subject of public discussion.
