Nigerian preacher Primate Elijah Ayodele has issued a fresh warning to President William Ruto over possible youth protests ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Ayodele, who leads the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, claimed that Kenya could experience another wave of political protests as the country moves closer to the next election.
The prophet warned that young people could organise demonstrations demanding changes in government and said the situation could create political tension for Ruto.
He urged the President to remain alert and prepare for what he described as a difficult political period.
Ayodele also claimed that Kenya could face increased political tension and possible violence as different political groups position themselves ahead of the 2027 election.
He further alleged that some politicians could attempt to put pressure on or discredit the President.
The preacher advised Ruto to pay attention to religious institutions, economic issues and the country's political environment as he prepares for the next election.
His latest remarks come after several previous predictions about Kenya's political future.
In June, Ayodele warned that Ruto could face growing pressure from opposition groups and possible protests. He also said opposition leaders could adopt new strategies aimed at challenging the President's political influence.
Earlier this year, the Nigerian cleric had made a different prediction, saying Ruto could win a second term if the opposition failed to build a strong and united political alliance.
Ayodele's latest warning comes as political activity in Kenya continues to increase ahead of the 2027 General Election, with different parties and political movements seeking to strengthen their support.
