Concern as Former CS Moses Kuria Is Hospitalised Under Unclear Circumstances

Former Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has been admitted to hospital under circumstances that remain unclear, raising concern among Kenyans and triggering speculation across the political scene.

By Monday evening, no official statement had been released by his family or close political allies to explain his condition or the hospital where he is receiving treatment. This silence has left many Kenyans relying on updates shared by leaders and friends who have managed to visit him.

Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly (MCA) Robert Alai is among the leaders who confirmed visiting the former Cabinet Secretary. Alai revealed that he had seen Kuria and found him in a stable condition.

His update helped reduce public anxiety, especially among Kuria’s supporters who had been worried after news of his hospitalisation spread online.

Moses Kuria is a veteran politician who has played a significant role in Kenya’s recent political history. He previously served as Cabinet Secretary for Trade before later being appointed Cabinet Secretary for Public Service.

Before joining the Cabinet, Kuria was the Member of Parliament for Gatundu South, where he became widely known for his outspoken nature and strong political opinions.

Kuria’s hospital admission has also brought back memories of his past health challenges. In previous years, he suffered a serious leg injury that forced him to seek treatment abroad. The injury kept him away from active politics for a long period and greatly affected his public engagements.

As of now, Kenyans continue to wait for an official update regarding his condition. Many have taken to social media to wish him a quick recovery as the nation watches closely for further developments.
