In Nairobi, Pumwani Maternity Hospital, drama erupted when a heavily pregnant woman clashed with a male midwife, as reported by reliable social media sources. The situation quickly got out of hand, causing panic among hospital staff and patients.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman was seen physically attacking the male midwife while his colleagues rushed in to calm the situation. The scene created a lot of tension in the hospital, with onlookers struggling to intervene.
The incident reportedly started when the male midwife asked the woman about the clothes they would use to tie her unborn baby.
When she did not respond, he mentioned that if no proper clothes were available, they might have to use a newspaper sheet. This comment appeared to anger the woman, and she reacted violently, leading to the clash.
Hospital staff quickly stepped in to separate the two and calm the situation. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured, though the incident caused a lot of chaos in the maternity ward.
