Leaders from the Wiper Democratic Movement are set to host Edwin Sifuna for a major Linda Mwananchi rally in Makueni County this weekend.
The gathering is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, at Kaiti Market in Kaiti Constituency, starting at 2:00 pm, and is expected to draw opposition leaders and supporters from across the region.
Joshua Kimilu announced the event on social media, urging residents to attend and engage in discussions around the Linda Mwananchi movement.
Senior Wiper leaders expected at the rally include Mutula Kilonzo Jr., Dan Maanzo, and Robert Mbui, highlighting growing cooperation between the Wiper party and the Linda Mwananchi team.
The movement has recently held successful rallies in various parts of the country, featuring leaders such as Babu Owino and Patrick Makau, signaling increasing support from opposition ranks.
Political analysts view the Makueni rally as part of a broader strategy to strengthen opposition alliances ahead of the 2027 General Election.
