Speaking during an interview with Tales Extra on Sunday, a Kenyan lady identified as Nancy Njoki, also known as Njeri, shared a painful and disturbing story that shocked many Kenyans.
The young woman bravely opened up about an experience that left her deeply traumatized and changed her life forever.
In her statement, Njeri revealed that the incident happened early in the morning while she was on her way to a shop in Kiambu. She said she was suddenly kidnapped by a group of men believed to be members of the Mungiki gang.
According to her, the men forcefully dragged her into a vehicle and took her to their premises, where her nightmare began.
Njeri said that while in captivity, the gang members forcefully circumcised her without her consent. She described the act as extremely painful and cruel, saying it left her weak and bleeding. She added that she had never gone through such an experience in her life.
After that, the situation became even worse. Njeri revealed that the eight men gang-raped her one after another, ignoring her cries and desperate pleas for mercy. She said she felt completely helpless and feared she would not survive the ordeal.
She further stated that she begged them to let her go, but the group refused. According to her, the men told her they were not done with her and insisted on continuing to torture her, both physically and emotionally.
Njeri said she later managed to escape from her captors when they became distracted. The first thing she did was rush to the hospital for medical help. Doctors treated her for several days because her private organs were seriously damaged.
Medical tests later confirmed that she had been infected with gonorrhea and HIV, a diagnosis that left her devastated.
