Beautiful photos of a Nairobi mother of three who disappeared after leaving home for work have resurfaced, reopening wounds and raising fresh questions for her family more than three years later.

Beatrice Adhiambo lived with her children in Lucky Summer Estate, Nairobi. On the day she vanished, she left home as usual and informed her family that she was going to work and would return later, just like she had done many times before.

Sadly, that day marked the last time her children and relatives ever saw her.

According to her family, Beatrice was a hardworking woman who did different jobs to provide for her children. Her work sometimes required her to travel or stay away from home for days or even weeks.

Because of this, her absence did not immediately raise alarm. The family initially believed she was away on work and would come back soon.

However, days passed, then weeks, and eventually months. Calls to her phone went unanswered, and messages were never replied to. Concern slowly turned into fear as the silence continued.

Her children, especially the youngest, kept asking when their mother would return home, but no one had answers.

The family later reported her disappearance to the police and informed friends, neighbours, and relatives. They searched hospitals, police stations, and places she was known to visit, but their efforts produced no results.

One of the most painful moments came when the family discovered that Beatrice’s phone number had been reassigned by Safaricom to another person, confirming that she had been unreachable for a very long time.

The resurfacing of her photos has triggered mixed emotions among her loved ones. The images show a smiling, vibrant woman who was deeply devoted to her children.
